Admiral Edwin M. Rosenberg Captain of "Rosie's Raiders, The Fastest Guns In The West"
Captain Rosenberg took us into action in the Viet Nam war. Under his command, "Blockbuster" was more than a call sign, it was an attitude and mission for the crew of the U.S.S. Canberra. From the blazing heat of the South China Sea to the frigid waters off Wonsan, North Korea, "Rosie" made us a force to be reckoned with. After leaving the Canberra, Admiral Rosenberg worked diligently to have the crew of the U.S.S. Pueblo returned home. He will ever be an inspiration to all of us who knew him. Rest in peace.
