Entering the domain of King Neptune

A day no mariner will ever forget is the day he first crossed the equator.  Until that fateful day, he was a mere pollywog.  One of the lowest forms of marine life.  Unclean, unfit, un......initiated!

In order to become a "true sailor" the 'wog must endure the right of passage into the sacred domain of King Neptune.  He must be tested to demonstrate his worthiness for the honor of becoming a Shellback.

The night before the crossing, the 'wogs of E-Division manage to trap their only Shellback.  Chief Bowen (EMCS) gets a small dose of what the 'wogs are soon to receive.  (Cruise Book)

The wardroom 'wogs render honors to King Neptune as he arrives aboard for the trials. (Cruise Book)
Our XO, Cmdr Brabant, checks in with the Royal Scribe, prior to his own trial.  The "coffin" awaits its next victim, in the background.  (Cruise Book)
