Official Deck Logs

Provided by Ed Huntington

(Thanks, Ed!)

The following table contains links to scanned copies of the declassified actual pages from Canberra's official deck logs.  Those of you who served during this period will no doubt recall many of the events that are recorded on these pages.  Some of you may even find your name mentioned.

These logs will most certainly give the reader some insight into the activities and the role Canberra played in the Viet Nam conflict.  From the underway replenishments, many fire missions, receiving enemy fire, and the loss of Douglass Hegdahl, it's all here.

Many thanks to Ed Huntington, who was one of Canberra's Photographers' Mates during this period, for making these documents available to us all.
