2nd-Division is one of four deck divisions that are responsible for daily maintenance of the majority of the port side of the ship.  In addition, they care for the officer's motor boat and the #2 utility boat.  The men of 2nd Division stand watches in the pilot house and man the 3" and 5" guns.
