The lookouts of OL division were ALWAYS on deck.  Fair weather or foul, the eyes of the lookouts cannot be replaced with electronics.  (SH)

The lonely fantail watch was always there, too. The navy's version of "tail end Charlie."  (SH)
"Neither rain, nor sleet, nor dead of night....."  Not only the mail carriers are out in all weather.  Our lookouts were ALWAYS on duty.  (DK)
