The Orient!  China!  Hong Kong! Exotic ports and strange experiences that excite all the senses.  Hong Kong was one of the most desired ports of call.  It is a city of opportunities to appeal to everyone.  Prices were very good for us.  From cameras and fine china, to excellent tailored clothes and shoes; the latest electronics of every description; watches and jewelry; jade and ivory; it is all here for a price unmatched anywhere else in the world.

The view from Victoria Peak and the nearly vertical tram ride to get there are spectacular.  Tiger Balm Gardens and the floating restaurants of Aberdeen are fantastically colorful and distinctly oriental.  The buffet at the Hong Kong Hilton was incredible and only $10HK, about $1.60US.  ($5HK from Fred Girk)
