Sweeping for "Wiblicks"

One of the Canberra's tasks off the coast of Viet Nam was the search for Waterborne Logistics Craft (WBLCs.)  The use of these small water craft was a common method of transporting men and materiel for the Viet Cong as well as the North Viet Namese regular army.

The lookouts were always watching for these guys.

U.S. Coast Guard cutter.  These guys don't get nearly enough recognition.  The "Coasties" were right in there with the Swifts and PBRs with some truly harrowing experiences.  (SH)
